Nestled in the heart of Timaru, Kingsdown Manor B&B was the perfect pit stop after a long flight, surrounded by breathtaking views. We opted for the Kingsdown Suite, with its charming terrace featuring unobstructed sea vistas that left us in awe every morning. The decor was beautifully curated, reminiscent of Japan's elegant simplicity, making it incredibly cozy, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable-my ideal mix of firmness and softness. Breakfast was a delightful continental spread, with organic muesli and homemade jams-perfect fuel for exploring the nearby hiking trails or just lounging by the outdoor swimming pool. Mel and Greg, the lovely hosts, treated us like family, offering insider tips about local treasures while maintaining a seamless flow of comfort throughout our stay. And if you're looking for a unique place to celebrate special moments, this stunning venue with its stained glass windows and lush gardens would be a romantic choice. I can't recommend Kingsdown Manor enough-if you ever find yourself in New Zealand, make sure to experience this gem for a refreshing break!
